Policy Objective
The attendance policy at Beyond Training Center aims to clarify the organizational procedures related to synchronous virtual attendance. Synchronous virtual attendance refers to the real-time presence of trainees in virtual classrooms, confirming their participation during live sessions. The following policies and procedures govern synchronous virtual attendance:
Attendance Equivalence
– Virtual attendance through virtual classrooms is considered equivalent to traditional physical attendance.
– A minimum of 25% of the total program/course hours must be delivered via synchronous virtual sessions when offering asynchronous electronic training programs longer than one month.
– In blended learning programs (whether virtual or physical), at least 25% of the total hours must also be delivered through synchronous virtual sessions for programs exceeding one month.
– All participants are required to attend according to the program’s scheduled timetable.
– Trainees must attend no less than 75% of the total hours allocated to the registered program.
Attendance Monitoring
Attendance and absence are tracked and documented as follows:
– Trainers and virtual room supervisors are responsible for monitoring trainee logins and confirming their attendance during live sessions.
– Attendance is recorded automatically through the system.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
If a trainee fails to meet the minimum required percentage of electronic attendance, the following procedures apply:
Excused Absence:
– The center reserves the right to accept or reject the excuse.
– If the excuse is accepted, the trainee may either receive a refund or transfer the course fee to another session.
Unexcused Absence:
– The trainee is not entitled to a refund.
– The trainee is not eligible to receive a certificate if the course requires certification.
Policy Scope and Enforcement
This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled in Beyond Training Center. The center is committed to enforcing this policy, and all employees are expected to comply. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the center’s established procedures.
